Welcome Back to the 25-26 School Year
Dear Maple Hill Families,
We are excited to begin a new journey with your children starting Monday, August 11th. It’s going to be a fantastic year of learning, growth, and connection at Maple Hill Elementary!
As a reminder, school gates will open at 7:45 a.m., and the tardy bell rings promptly at 8:10 a.m. On the first day of school, families are welcome to accompany their students to the line-up areas to meet the teacher. Beginning Tuesday, August 12th, all students will say goodbye at the gate as they begin their day independently.
You may notice ongoing construction on our campus. We are thrilled to share that by late November, Maple Hill will gain a much-needed new staff parking lot and four additional classrooms. As the smallest school on the Diamond Bar side of the school district, these new classrooms will support our growing enrollment and help ensure neighborhood students have the opportunity to attend Maple Hill.
We are grateful to the Walnut Valley Unified School District for funding these important improvements through its own Capital Facilities Fund. These projects are not funded through a voter approved tax measure. This investment demonstrates the District’s continued commitment to providing high-quality learning environments for all students.
We look forward to a year filled with exciting changes and new discoveries as we explore how “Maple Hill is Out of This World!”
Kindly,
Ms. McNeil
Principal at Maple Hill
