Principal's Message

Welcome to Maple Hill, the Home of the HAWKS!
 
I am pleased to introduce myself as the Principal at Maple Hill Elementary School. Maple Hill is an incredible place for all who walk through its doors. The staff at Maple Hill takes pride in their work and strives daily to make Maple Hill a special place to come to. We have innovative teachers and dedicated staff members committed to providing students with opportunities to cultivate their kind hearts, strong minds, brave spirits, and Hawk Pride. 
 
Our Mission Statement says it all. “At Maple Hill, our mission is to establish a school environment where every student can receive a stellar education — one that meets their individual needs in a safe and loving environment where their hearts are ignited, their spirits are encouraged, and their minds are challenged. We strive to ensure that all students who walk through the Maple Hill doors are given the tools, skills, and support to discover their true self-worth, make the impossible possible, and are inspired to make the world a better place.”
 
Maple Hill Elementary is the recipient of the 2016 Gold Ribbon School Award and has been recognized as a California Distinguished School two times. We take pride in the balance between academic rigor and character development. Maple Hill also has been a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) school since 2014. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students to achieve social, emotional, and academic success. In 2021-2023, Maple Hill received the “Platinum” Award for promoting positive behavior intervention support with our students and showing that we have tiered level support for our students both academically and behaviorally. This award is a great honor and a testament to all the great things happening at Maple Hill. 
 
As the Interim Principal, I believe it is essential that everyone who steps through our doors—students, teachers, and family members alike—is excited to be here and feels like they belong! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.

New Student Registration for the 25/26 School Year

Sibling registration begins on January 13, 2025. (residents of our district only, NOT DOC's, Inter District's or Allen Bill Transfers)
New residents to our district begins on January 21, 2025. Please do not submit your online application until this date.
You can access the link to register online by selecting the tab "Parent Resources" and select "New Student Registration". All registration is done online and you will upload all documents and then submit your application.

Volunteer Application and Instructions

If you would like to volunteer at our school (classrooms, field trips, parties, special events, etc.) you are required to submit a online Volunteer Application each year. You will need to fill out the online application, submit your CA Driver's License with a copy of your Negative TB test, complete the online Mandated Reporting class and complete the finger printing process through the district office. The district office is handling all volunteer applications. Just a reminder, you MUST submit a new application every year. Please use the link below to submit your application and required documents.
