Principal's Message

 

 

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Maple Hill Elementary School, a truly special place where every student is encouraged to soar to new heights. Maple Hill is more than a school—it’s a vibrant community of innovative teachers, dedicated staff, and supportive families working together to ensure our students develop kind hearts, strong minds, brave spirits, and true Hawk Pride.

 

Our mission says it best: “At Maple Hill, it is our mission to establish a school environment where every student has the opportunity to receive a stellar education—one that meets their individual needs in a safe and loving environment where their hearts are ignited, their spirits are encouraged, and their minds are challenged. We strive to ensure that all students who walk through our doors are given the tools, skills, and support to discover their true self-worth, make the impossible possible, and are inspired to make the world a better place.”

 

This year, our theme is “Maple Hill is Out of This World!” and it couldn’t be more fitting. Our campus is undergoing exciting improvements that will help us launch into the future. Construction is underway to add four new classrooms and a new staff parking lot—enhancements that will support our growing community and create even more opportunities for our students to thrive. While we navigate this temporary change, our focus remains on the incredible possibilities ahead. We see this as a chance for our Hawks to practice flexibility, perseverance, and problem-solving—life skills that will serve them well long after their time at Maple Hill.

 

Maple Hill’s tradition of excellence is reflected in our history as a Gold Ribbon School, a two-time California Distinguished School, and a Platinum Award recipient from the California PBIS Coalition for our outstanding behavioral and academic support systems. These honors represent our balanced commitment to both academic rigor and character development, and they remind us that when we work together, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

 

At Maple Hill, we believe that everyone who steps onto our campus—students, families, and staff—should feel welcomed, valued, and inspired. With our collective dedication and “out of this world” spirit, we are ready to make this year one of the best yet.
